Natalie Bickford, MS
Natalie received her Master’s degree in Nutrition from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR. She believes in using a holistic approach for each client, with the goal of improving overall health rather than focusing on fixing one problem. She offers personal chef services, nutritional counseling, meal planning, and recipe development that will cater to each clients personal needs.
Having worked as the Cookbook Assistant for Run Fast. Eat Slow and Run Fast. Cook Fast. Eat Slow. Natalie helped develop and test whole-food based recipes designed for athletes, working alongside Chef Elyse Kopecky and world-class marathoner and winner of the 2018 NYC Marathon Shalane Flanagan. One of her own original recipes was also published in the first cookbook and two more in the second book.
With a lifelong passion for food and cooking, Natalie focuses on updating comfort food with nourishing, high quality ingredients, as well as developing innovative and flavorful recipes of her own. She focuses on using local, seasonal ingredients to get the most nutritional benefits out of your food. Natalie's passion for nourishing friends and family with indulgent, healthy food has lead her to start Natalie Cooks so that she can share her love of food and nutrition with the community.
